There were just two splinters on the inside of one side panel from the screws being over tightened but these have been rectified and glued down

Full of character, good colour and wear creating a pleasing deep patina. Small loss to the back right edge of the lid but hardly noticeable and the lock is no longer present (the escutcheon is though). Plenty of dings and wear as it was a carpenter's chest, but all very solid and original throughout (except the trays). A perfect coffee
